Ivor L. Geft, MD

Dr. Geft was born and educated in South Africa where he attended the University of Cape Town Medical School.

He moved to Israel where he completed his cardiology Fellowship at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem followed by 18 months of military service in the Israel Defense Force. Dr. Geft was then Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. In 1980, Dr. Geft and his family moved to Los Angeles where he had a research position with Drs. Swan and Ganz, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. After joining the full time cardiology faculty, he opened a private practice in Los Angeles in 1983.
